Determination of 3D structure of macromolecules

The semestral course on Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Natural Sciences introduce basic principles of protein and nucleic acids structures. The two most often used methods of macromolecular 3D structure determination, X-ray crystallography and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), will be discussed in detail. The course will be supplemented with visits to laboratories using these methods.
