Practical course on fish transgenesis

Due to the experimental nature of the course, the total number of participants is limited.

 

The participants of the course will get practical hands-on training on the following subjects:

  • Basic fish husbandry (zebrafish, medakafish)
  • Transgenesis in fish using meganuclease and transposons
  • Live imaging of reporter genes (EGFP, mCherry) in transgenic fish 

In addition, theoretical lectures covering the topics of the course will be delivered. The language of the course will be both Czech and English. Each participant will be provided with printed material describing techniques practiced in the course.
