  • Date & Time: 27. 10. 2017
  • Location: IMG, Milan Hašek Auditorium

Huygens Professional software, which will be presented, is tailored to beginners and advanced users that aim to deconvolve and restore their microscopy images.

Started in 1994 Scientific Volume Imaging (SVI) is the sole independent company in the world that offers high quality restoration (deconvolution) and analysis software for confocal, widefield & brightfield, Spinning disc, Multi-photon, STED and SPIM/light sheet microscopy with fully automatic depth-dependent PSF measurement as well as bead based PSF measurement.

The workshop is organized by SVI and coordinated by LMCF IMG in the framework of the Czech-BioImaging research infrastructure supported by MEYS (LM2015062).

Huygens Professional software, which will be presented, is tailored to beginners and advanced users that aim to deconvolve and restore their microscopy images. Work-flows can be optimized with additional 3D visualization and powerful analysis options. Extended arithmetic and scripting tools facilitate batch-wise image processing.

Programme:

Lectures 09:00-09:45 Deconvolution – theoretical background and acquisition pitfalls
09:50-10:35 STED deconvolution
Hands-on sessions (*) 10:50-11:40 Deconvolution – demonstration and explanation of parameters
11:50-12:40 Huygens – 3D visualization & analysis
13:40-14:30 Deconvolution – working with user data

* For the hands-on sessions your own notebook is necessity. You will obtain all information for computer preparation in the confirmation email.
