The 5-day practical course is aimed at beginners and intermediate users of transmission electron microscopes. After the course, participants will understand the principles of construction and function of transmission electron microscopes, the basics of sample preparation techniques, and will receive the extensive practice during hands-on sessions on three transmission electron microscopes of varying complexity. The participants are encouraged to bring their own samples on TEM grids for imaging.
The course will be taught in English.
