5th BIOCEV-Krč Methodological Seminar

  • Date & Time: 3. 6. 2019
  • Location: Lecture hall of the Institute of Physiology

In this 5th “BIOCEV-Krč Methodological Seminar” you will be led through the path from the selection of suitable chemical compounds to be tested, to biological assay design, the screening process, and the final data analysis. You will get some basic idea what is behind the identification of new molecular probes as new tools for research, as well as candidates for the development of new potential therapeutics.

The following speakers will present at the seminar:

  • RNDr. Petr Bartůněk, CSc.,
IMG, CZ-OPENSCREEN: National Infrastructure for Chemical Biology
    “CZ-OPENSCREEN: Where Chemistry meets Biology”
  • Mgr. David Sedlák, Ph.D.,
IMG, CZ-OPENSCREEN: National Infrastructure for Chemical Biology
“High throughput screening and development of new molecular probes for modern biology”
  • RNDr. Martin Popr, Ph.D.,
IMG, CZ-OPENSCREEN: National Infrastructure for Chemical Biology
Compound management and sample quality control in chemical biology”
  • Ing. Ctibor Škuta, Ph.D.,
IMG, CZ-OPENSCREEN: National Infrastructure for Chemical Biology
“Introduction to chemical probes and their resources”
