Photogenic Science Launched!

The Czech Academy of Sciences invites all its employees to participate in the 7th annual photographic competition.

Enter your photographs in the categories of Photogenic Science and newly this year, there are secondary categories named Elements in Nature and Science in Quarantine. This category reflects the situation, we are facing these days and gives scientists the opportunity to show how they have dealt with the difficulties of the situation or, on the contrary, which advantages or new options has this new situation brought them,

This year will also be awarded the Prize for the Best Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, that will go to the institute whose semi-final photographs will be judged as the most worthwhile as a whole.

You can upload the photos until 11:59 pm on June 15, 2020 on the site www.vedafotogenicka.cz.

The award-winning photographs may become a part of the representative calendar of the Czech Academy of Sciences or travel around the Czech Republic and abroad in the form of a traveling exhibition. Moreover, the winners will receive interesting prizes or invitations to photographic workshops conducted by professional photographers.
