A small workshop is focused on publication image processing. The workshop is intended as a practical discussion covering several important topics:

  • Image size and resizing methods
  • Non-linear gamma correction feasibility
  • Handling data acquired in non-linear ways (maybe no way..)
  • Implications of image rotation
  • DPI standards for figures and their significance
  • Recommended image formats and compressions
