• Deadlines that must be met by law:
  • within seven calendar days from the date of submission, communicate to the applicant the details of the publication of the information
  • within seven calendar days from the date of submission, ask the applicant to specify the information requested
  • if the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences (contact person) does not receive clarifying information from the applicant, reject the request within 30 calendar days of the request
  • the applicant is informed of the postponement of the application within three calendar days after the postponement, but at the latest within the time limit set by law for the processing of the application
  • the requested information is provided by the obliged entity within a basic time limit of 15 calendar days after the request is made
  • the period of 15 calendar days may be extended by a maximum of 10 calendar days, i.e. to 25 calendar days, only for serious reasons, which are:
    • searching for and gathering the requested information in other departments,
    • requesting a voluminous amount of separate and distinct information in a single application,
    • the need to consult with another obliged entity (or two or more components of an obliged entity) which has a substantial interest in the subject matter of the request
  • the applicant is informed within 15 calendar days of the extension of the basic time limit and the reasons for it
  • the time limit for the applicant to appeal shall be 15 calendar days from the receipt of the decision.
